The Wellpinit School District Mission Statement: The Wellpinit School District is a K-12 public school system centrally located on the Spokane Indian Reservation. We work respectfully and collaboratively with parents, families and community, to empower our students through education, in a safe, caring and culturally responsive environment, inspiring students to master intellectual, social, physical and emotional skills needed for success.

We have lots of kids showing up in hoodies and sweatshirts. If you are cleaning out closets and have any kid winter COATS, we would love to take them off your hands. Please bring clean coats with working zippers to the Elementary office and we will gladly get them to a child in need, Thank you

Wellpinit School District in partnership with Spokane Tribal Enterprises, will be hosting the 2nd Harvest Mobile Food Market. This is an event for everyone. There are no requirements or documents needed. A drive thru event to distribute fresh food for Wellpinit, Ford, West-End, Springdale, Hunters, and Reardan communities.

2nd Harvest Inland Northwest Mobile Food Market

Wellpinit, WA – Wellpinit School District in partnership with Spokane Tribal Enterprises hosted a 2nd Harvest Inland Northwest Mobile Food Market for the surrounding communities. The School District invited Wellpinit, Ford, West End, Springdale and Reardan communities to participate in the free food distribution.

The Mobile Food Market delivered 15,000 pounds of food today, the event had volunteers from Spokane Tribal Departments this included; Wellpinit TANF 477, Spokane Tribe Youth Centers, HHS Prevention Department, HHS Diabetes Program, Spokane Tribal Network, Commodities Department and Wellpinit School District.

This event will serve up to 250 families, no appointment or documentation was required. The families drove up and the volunteers loaded up their cars with food and free dog/cat food.

Thanks to all involved with the food distribution, the communities appreciate your hard work.
